Ariana Grande is taking her longtime support for the LGBTQ+ community a step further with the launch of the Brighter Days Ahead Foundation, a nonprofit that will fund organizations focused on LGBTQ+ rights, mental health, reproductive justice, and emergency relief.
The singer announced the foundation on Instagram during Pride Month, sharing that its mission is to “support, protect, and provide resources for our vulnerable friends in need.” The organization will provide grants to grassroots groups already working to uplift marginalized communities.
Among the first organizations receiving support are Lambda Legal, Transgender Law Center, Trans Lifeline, and Trans Youth Emergency Project. The foundation will also back groups working in mental health, civil rights, and humanitarian relief.
Grande has been a vocal supporter of LGBTQ+ rights for years, especially the transgender community. In 2022, she launched a fundraiser for organizations serving trans youth, helping raise more than $3 million for legal advocacy, crisis support, and community programs.
The Brighter Days Ahead Foundation builds on that work by providing long-term support to organizations already making a difference. For many fans and advocates, it’s another example of Grande using her platform to invest in causes that matter beyond the spotlight.
