In a historic night for pageantry, Vietnam’s Nguyen Huong Giang has officially claimed the 2nd Runner-Up title at the inaugural Miss Grand International All Stars 2026 finale, held on May 30, 2026.

By securing a spot in the Top 3, Huong Giang has made history as the first-ever transgender contestant to reach the Top 5 and the podium in the Miss Grand system. Colombia’s Vanessa Pulgarín was crowned the ultimate winner of the All Stars edition, while Ghana’s Faith Maria Porter walked away as the 1st Runner-Up.

Although the judges gave her lower scores in the Top 5 question-and-answer round, Huong Giang won over the audience with a powerful response delivered entirely in English.

When asked why she deserved to be on the All Stars stage, she answered confidently:

“I am here not only representing beauty. I represent resilience and my story—a story that nobody else on this stage has. I am a pioneer, someone who has opened doors in pageant history. I am standing in the Top 5 as the first transgender contestant ever to reach this stage. And I am ready to inspire everyone.”

Despite receiving tough criticism from the judges, strong support from fans around the world helped secure her place in the Top 3. She later finished the competition as 2nd Runner-Up.

This achievement is another major highlight in Huong Giang’s pageant career. After winning Miss International Queen 2018 and representing Vietnam at Miss Universe 2025, her strong performance at Miss Grand International All Stars 2026 further solidifies her place as one of the most influential transgender women in pageantry.

Shortly after the coronation, Huong Giang took to social media to thank her supporters in Vietnam and around the world. She shared a heartfelt message of love and appreciation for everyone who supported her throughout the competition.
