Anne Patricia Diaz has added another major milestone to her pageant journey after being crowned one of the first-ever Reina Filipinas MGI All Stars Philippines 2026 titleholders.

Diaz, who represented Manila, won the title alongside Alexie Caimoso Brooks during the inaugural Reina Filipinas coronation night held on August 7 at the Newport Performing Arts Theater in Pasay City. Her victory was particularly historic as Diaz was the only transgender woman competing in the pageant. She will now represent the Philippines at the second edition of MGI All Stars in Thailand.

The competition featured 21 candidates competing for three major international titles. Angelica Lopez of Palawan was crowned Reina Filipinas Grand International 2026, while Diaz and Brooks took home the two MGI All Stars titles.

Diaz is no stranger to the pageant world. In 2025, she won Miss International Queen Philippines and went on to represent the country at Miss International Queen in Thailand, where she finished in the Top 6.

During the Reina Filipinas competition, Diaz also spoke about the importance of equality and inclusivity. Her presence on the stage and eventual victory marked another significant moment for transgender representation in Philippine pageantry.

Reina Filipinas is a newly launched national pageant organization that selects representatives for Miss Grand International and MGI All Stars. Its inaugural edition brought together experienced pageant contestants from different parts of the Philippines.

For Diaz, the new crown means another chance to represent the country on an international stage. This time, she will head to MGI All Stars alongside Brooks, carrying the Philippine flag in one of the newest international pageant competitions.

Her win also sends a powerful message about inclusion in the pageant industry. As the only transgender contestant in the competition, Anne Patricia Diaz did not just make history by competing. She walked away as one of its biggest winners.
