Around 150,000 people attended London Trans+ Pride on July 25, 2026, in what organizers called the largest trans pride march in the world.

The march started at Langham Place and ended at Trafalgar Square, where attendees gathered for speeches focused on transgender rights, healthcare access, legal recognition, and protection from discrimination.

The event brought together transgender people, allies, families, and LGBTQ+ organizations from across the UK. Participants carried pride flags and signs supporting trans visibility and equality. Organizers said that while the march is a celebration of the trans community, it remains a protest focused on addressing the challenges faced by transgender and gender-diverse people.

The 2026 event marked a major increase in attendance compared with previous years. Since launching in 2019, London Trans+ Pride has grown from a small community gathering into one of the largest LGBTQ+ demonstrations in the UK.

The record turnout came amid ongoing discussions around transgender rights in the UK. For organizers and attendees, the march served as a public show of support for trans communities and a call for continued action on equality and inclusion.
