Vivian Jenna Wilson, the transgender daughter of Elon Musk, stepped into the spotlight on Friday night with her first-ever drag performance. She appeared under the name Vivllainous at a packed fundraiser held at The Bellwether in Los Angeles.
The event was called “SAVE HER! — An Environmental Drag Show” and was organized by drag performer and climate activist Pattie Gonia. It raised money for immigrant legal defense efforts and featured a diverse lineup of drag artists who used their talents to support the cause.
Wilson wore a fitted black catsuit and corset as she lip-synced to the Eurovision hit “Wasted Love” by JJ. Her performance ended with her raising the transgender pride flag, earning loud cheers and a standing ovation from the audience.
Drag performer Noxxia Datura, who did Wilson’s makeup for the night, posted about the moment on Instagram. Wilson replied with appreciation, saying, “Love you so much doll, ty for the faceeeee.”
This performance was more than entertainment. It came shortly after immigration raids sparked protests in downtown Los Angeles. The fundraiser served as both a show and a statement of support for immigrant and LGBTQ+ communities. Pattie Gonia described the event as a way to use drag as a tool for justice and solidarity.
Vivian Wilson, now 21, has been open about her journey. In 2022, she changed her name and legally cut ties with her father. Since then, she has appeared at LGBTQ+ events and spoke publicly about her transition in an interview with Teen Vogue.
Her debut as Vivllainous marked a new chapter. It was a confident and proud performance that blended activism, art, and identity. For Wilson, it was a moment of joy and self-expression that resonated far beyond the stage.
